Soma Bay Dive Sites
Here you will find a lot of information about the best dive sites in Soma Bay, which we visit from Menaville Resort with our excursion boats. There is something for everyone – flat, colourful coral gardens punctuated by fine sandy areas where turtles, sand eels, rays and reef fish alternate; breathtaking reef blocks surrounded by the deep blue of the open sea and with steeply sloping walls that disappear into the depths below you, where there is also a chance of big fish. Canyons and labyrinths where you could spend hours discovering and playing hide and seek...
The evening before, take a look at the notice board at the base to see which destinations the captains have chosen for the next day and sign up right away – it's always worth it.

The wreck is one of the most famous and tragic in the Red Sea. It lies on the seabed on the starboard side with the bow at a depth of 32 meters, while the propeller is only 14 meters below the surface. To this day, there are many objects and debris around the ship and colorful marine life has settled on and around the hull.
The ship's interior is mostly considered a graveyard and thus banned from public diving.
